Isn't L.E.G.O an acronym ? So, if there is a plural in the same way as "fords" for more than one car made by Ford, then there'll be an "s" on the end of of whatever the L, E, G or O stand for that make L.E.G.O singular. If it stands for the company name i.e a real name, there'll be no plural in the same way as there's no MrBelvedereS. If MrBelvedere was known as a brand name for, say, high class toffees then more than one high class toffee could be referd to as "MrBelvederes". If there is a latin word "lego" then it's a verb "amo, amas, amat.........." "lego, legas, legat........" so, again, there can be no plural. I've voted legii just for a laugh.

Aren't you assuming it's a noun?

Could be a verb... (pl. "Legover")

The smallest indivisible (atomic) object of a Lego-something is called a legoklods (means lego-brick) in danish, and the plural form is legoklodser using the regular -er ending for the plural form of danish nouns.

LEGO itself is just a brand name so there is no plural form, like there is no plural form for BP, Heinz, or whatever.

If you re-invent LEGO as the singular form of a noun, then you can invent your own plural form as well.

My answer (not a poll option) is: Legoklodser
My secondary choice is: It's a brand name so there is no plural

I'm pretty sure that Legos is a place name and I'm pretty sure that like more than one mother in law is mothers in law and therefore gin and tonic could arguably become gins and tonic, wouldn't you think? so legover, surely would be legs over which could defeat the object so Play well will be play wells ?! Would you put kids in a well ? or plays well. Is well a game ? I think this is all too deep a concept for my one remaing brain cell.

I'm not changing my vote. legoii

The plural of Lego is lego much like the plural for sheep is sheep and fish is fish.

By Jingo ! I think Sexy_Southerner has got it. A search for "legos" on the Lego official web site throws up 49,896 results. Amazingly, other contenders aren't recognised.

You was asking for the plural of "lego", not of "hair"

Yeah, I know it's a little bit out of topic... But I was just noticing that I had the same hair style as Legolas, before I had a hair cut...

I've tried making a pair of scissors out of lego, but they won't cut hair. "Scissors" is singular, "hair" is singular or plural. Therefore I made a scissor out of legos to cut hair[s]. There. I've created the link that pejakm must have been thinking of betwixt the plural of lego and coiffer.

This is not something that is VOTABLE this is simple english.
Like fish, sheep etc - lego is a singular word, that is the correct english - not something for debate.
