Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? I've watched a few movies in the past few days. The Millenium Trilogy or: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo The Girl who Played with Fire The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest I had seen the first one a long time back, and I think it is easily the best of the three movies in the trilogy. The lead female character is fascinating in her cold, hard opacity. The stories drag on too long I think, and the third movie is the least engaging, but by then you really want to see the end. What she experiences hardly seems to affect her though, unless it just tempers her spirit.

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? An Education Not bad. Carey Mulligan's performance makes it worth watching. (spoiler: I wanted to find the main male character and beat the snot out of him by the middle of the movie)

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? Its Kind of a Funny Story Went in not expecting too much from this movie and was pleasantly surprised. They managed to tell a story about a depressed teen and not hit every cliche in the book while doing so. This had a lot of bright, fun moments in it, which was unexpected.

| Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? Lord of the Rings, Trilogy - Bluray with TrueHD-Master Audio. Woot! 10/10. Battle Scenes in beautiful 1080p, with surround sound as orks, olyphants and mad-men get their asses kicked by a bunch of dead guys. Harry Potter 1-6 - Bluray Very good - overall 8/10. Surround sound doesn't add *that* much to these movies.

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? Midsummer Madness...this is the strangest comedy I've seen in years. Seriously weird, though lighthearted. Most of the time I was sitting in awe, telling myself it couldn't get any cheesier, or bizarre, but I was wrong. Good luck making it through this one.

Alice kicks ass. Kills a mutated bad guy. Lots of bad guys come for a fight ... RE6 starts .... Only hardcore Resident Evil / Zombie movie fans can find anything positive with this movie.

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? Man Push Cart I'm not a fan of movies that have no plot line, and this one doesn't change that opinion at all. Its basically a retelling of Sisyphus in Hades, showing the endless struggle of a Pakistani immigrant in New York City, where nothing can change his life for the better. He drifts through his existence, barely scraping by, and nothing works out for him. By the end of this slice of life movie, we see him at the bottom of the hill again, about to push the rock once more. Depressing, and not a style of moviemaking I enjoy or recommend.

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? The City of Lost Children I've heard many good things about this movie over the years...it has a cult following and most definitely NOT mainstream cinema. Its a surreal French fantasy, with great settings and good performances from Ron Perlman and a very young unknown French actress named Judith Vittet. Too bad she didn't continue acting...she had potential. I get the feeling most people will not enjoy this movie, but it is not one you will forget.

Re: What was the Last Movie you watched? The Next Three Days This is a reasonably good thriller, where a man is desperate to get his falsely convicted wife out of jail. Too many convenient events to be plausible...both from the perspective of the husband and the police who stumble into the action. And Russel Crowe wasn't even tempted by Olivia Wilde? Gimme a break!
