The Maxell packs were $20/pack, which works out to $2.00/disc...most I've paid per disc ever.

The FujiFilm packs were "On Sale" at $10/pack. Slightly better at $1.00/disc. But I'm not trying to run a premier DVD replication center.

Note to anyone who reads these prices: No, I am NOT crazy; I just know that I probably won't find this stuff at retail ever again, so I go ahead and get them at inflated prices. And, somehow, all the discs I've paid a premium for have written well, so I'm not complaining by any stretch of the imagination.

Wonder who gave Burnsama that title, and if he realizes it was changed.

It is quite appropriate though, from all the scans we get over in the other part of the forum. Need a comparison? Burnsama most likely has done a burn on your media at every speed from 4x to 20x [if possible]. I've actually compared a few of my scans on my drives to his scans from his drives, which has let me know whether or not I should get a new drive for the media I use.

Haven't had a working camera for ages, so I finally decided to get one again, researched specs and reviews, and decided on a superzoom compact camera with a nice wide-angle lens.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ3 : 10x zoom (28-280mm equivalent) 7.2 Megapixels

Only a 19inch but its the perfect size for the office and it sure is a pleasure after viewing a 13 inch for the past several years.

Well I found this little shop just outside of Tokyo while driving around with my car and found some nice dead stock media so I bought following:
150Pcs of Maxell 4x DVD-R MIJ
150Pcs of Maxell 8x DVD-R MIJ
50Pcs of Pro-use Maxell branded 8x DVD-R MIJ made by TY
50Pcs of 74Min Mitsui Gold CD-R MIJ
All in all it cost about US$250 (I would have bought more if i had more money on me). I know its not the best price but who cares.....lol
And the good thing is that the shop still seems to have plenty of stock
