Taking hot shower and finishing using only cold water seems to work best in summer.

I had to use only cold water in several winters especially when the room boiler was not working. This apartment had an LNG boiler installed in 2000 and it stopped working within a few seconds whenever I tried to use hot water. The owner - I pay about US$450/month rent - replaced it only after I had already spent three winters here.

I don't know well about Walter Isaacson and exactly how publishers and writers choose their translators and distributors. I know at least the Korean-language edition of Steve Jobs (the Isaacson version) was translated by someone running a translation agency who doesn't know the difference of a physical desktop, the topside of a desk, and a computer software desktop. So the people who bought the translated version was not much interested in the accuracy of its facts or the philosophy or the innovative and creative part of Steve Jobs and Apple, but rather because it was simply about a book on the highly fashionable brand and who was often popularized as the crusader against the evil person named Bill Gates who in his turn was better known as the person ordering his Entarta maps to describe the sea between Russia, Japan, and the two Koreas as Sea of Japan instead of 'East Sea' as South Korean patriots like to call the sea body.

This is a tragic example of fanaticism disguised as philanthropy and high-tech. His rival is the daughter of a former South Korean president who befriended Japan and helped to transform South Korea into what now it is. South Korea has seven of the world's ten largest shipyards. That temperature can freeze nothing, but I also felt like freezing 24 hours ago though the temperature must have been like 20 degrees. It's 22 now, but I feel it's cold. I spent some years when the room temperature was near freezing - 3 degress Celcius as there was no effective source of heat except the sun but the sunlight was not abundant inside. Talking of freezing reminds me, I would like to have a dedicated freezer, preferably one built into the sinc like ovens and washing machines.
