Here's one for all of you gurus' out there.

Microsoft(R) Firefox 2007 Professional
The new award-winning browser from Microsoft is now faster, securer and quicker anything else on the market. Why use anything else?

Enjoy a Better Web Experience

MS Firefox 2007 delivers a dramatic boost in the download speeds of online pornography. By utilising a proprietary dynamic algorithm - anything that remotely resembles a tit or a boob will download up to 10 times faster. Fun at the speed of light!

Stay Secure on the Web

Firefox 2007's new TakeOver(TM) technology protects the Windows Kernel by automatically recognizing all McAfee and Symantec programs as viruses. Downloading has never been safer.

Interactive Multimedia

Microsoft's AKobe Phlash(TM) Plugin delivers awesome online interactive content; anything from music, videos to games. (Lawsuit from Adobe pending)

Personalize Your Browser

Choose from three excellent browsing styles! Minimized, Maximized and Fullscreen!

Download MS Firefox 2007

System Requirements

The following bare minimums are essential for the optimum operation of MS Firefox 2007

* A Credit Card

* Microsoft(R) Windows(TM)/Vista Operating System

* Microsoft(R) Mouse & Keyboard (Hyperlinks will NOT work without these)

* Live(TM) Messenger (Required API to maintain dangerous CPU temperatures)

* Microsoft(R) Office 2007 (Provides the ability to scroll webpages)

* Quad Core Processor (For loading Hotmail.com)

* Any SLI Configured Graphics Card > 512mb (TO Display High Definition GIF Images)

* 1024 MB of RAM (Compensation for Frequent Memory Leaks)

* 483MB Disk Space

Warning

Visiting the following sites using MS Firefox 2007 will cause your computer to shut down unexpectedly

* www.google.com

* www.gmail.com

* www.apple.com

* www.itunes.com

* www.yahoo.com

* Any sites with the phrase: microsoft/windows/explorer/vista/bill sucks

You know, these issues have been taken over from the Mozilla Firefox code. It's not Microsoft's fault.

Firefox is slow, eats lots of memory, is inefficient, and suffers from memory leaks. It requires more than 10x the RAM required by Opera and IE, if rendering a big page

This is why I use Opera and IE 7 for the most stuff.

Difficult to understand why saying "loading hotmail.com" requires quad-core processors should be regarded as a funny joke. It's not funny to me at all. Plain ugly, low, pathetic, pointless. Can anyone confess as to why most critics against Microsoft since the 1980s use 99% exaggerations and lies and just 1% truths?

Anyway, since I switched to IE 7 long ago, I almost forgot there are also users of Firefox, and IE 6. Let's see what happens in 2007~2010. Whether most users will be running Linux or Vista. Whether most users will be running IE 7 or Firefox.

Is "Firefox 2007" as we call it in this thread still W3C-incompatible?

Well put. I know I'll be doing 2 builds one for Vista in January and then start building a linux as well. As for Firefox or IE 7 I will use Vistas IE 7 to get the download for Firefox.

Because the truth isn't as funny.
M$ programmers write code no worse than any other company. At the end of the day though, they have a much larger social responsibility, because MS codebase is so widespread & hence the security holes are discovered quicker than other companies, due to the accessibility of M$ code

Of course this results in a large quantity of bugs & security flaws being discovered, which makes M$ look worse compared to other companies which are quick to disguise their flaws & secuiryt problems

M$ are victims of their own success ... at the end of the day though, it comes down to something that .au suffers from terribly ... Tall Poppy Syndrome

Have you tried FF2? It uses far less memory than FF1.5. And a lot of the memory leaks come from poorly-written 3rd-party extensions. Also, you should compare FF-IE memory usage with the same number of pages open (so if you have 40 FF tabs, you need 40 IE6 windows or IE7 tabs). You'll find that IE7 is the bigger hog. And slower, too.

I have three tabs and two downloads open in FF2. It uses 75MB. I dont consider that much. Trillian uses 22MB and all it does is send people obnoxious messages.

I dont know if its just me, but I see that IE7 loads pages faster than FF 2 over the same connection (observed a variety of websites).

Have you tried IE7? It has a far nicer design than FF 1.5.
And its UI is fully native. Firefox' UI = not native at all, especially not with Windows 2000 (yes, some people still use that)!
OpenOffice, GIMP, Firefox... all the same ugly crap.
