Perhaps someone needs this.....

Cakewalk Audio Pro 9 (you need only the .zip files). Cakewalk Audio Pro 9 is a advanced audio editing program, mainly meant for midi creation etc. While most of it's features are targeted at audio professionals and won't have much use for a regular home-user, this program also features the excellent Fraunhofer mp3 encoding engine, often regarded as (still) the best one around

i think cakewalk sux! but the fraunhofer mp3 encoder is ok. In stead of Cakewalk use Cubase or Logic!
but then again.. who am i to say such things? it's just my opinion

Yep, Cubase rulez if you want to compose en record music. Cakewalk is ok, but a real musician will prefer Cubase over Cakewalk !
