Yep, I store fish food in them, specically The Brine Shrimp pellets.

You just gotta cut off the middle stick at the base so its less anooying, and you open them upside down.

Yo-

Personally - I use them for storing used thongs - find that the sweet smells are preserved longer than using plastic baggies - eh?

Of course, they are just fine for shipping your disks when you share them with distant friends.

Must be small fish.

There's an empty spindle case on top of a Philips coffee maker next to the sink and another where the dishes are. When moving, empty spindle cases alone need a full box of about 50 by 50 cm.

I can always use empty spindle boxes to store my burned discs.
/me burns boatloads of discs due to burner reviews.
For some sick reason I like to keep all of my "create data disc" DVDs.

I trashed more than 200 very old test disks (create data disks) a couple months ago. Wife happy but me not.

I haven't wasted any of my test disks ever. For that matter, I haven't given up any of my totally failed disks either whether from drought or mechanical or electrical disastor. And there are literally thousands of them in many boxes and bookshelves.

I played a DJ set on a boat cruising Sydney Harbour last Christmas... the set was pre-programmed, so I took two caketins and stacked every second disc in each, then put them either side of the decks. I took another two empties to put the discs in after playing them.

That sounds like it was a kickass party!

I am still spinning primarily vinyl, throwing in a few CDs of original tracks from time to time. Sounds like a good idea though, I'll give it a try after I make the switch to CDs.

Peace and Luv,

DJ Mind

Yeah, it was a mad party, except for having to play commercial house, which makes me want to put knitting needles through people's ears.

I'm primarily using Ableton Live now as a mixing tool.
