does a Shemale actually exist

been surfing porn sites... have come across something called shemales. i was shocked at first. are these things done with trick photography or there are actually shemales in this world... please enlighten me...

Ask anyone who's been to Thailand - they will confirm that. Some get their whatever body parts (like boobs) done but some simply have both naturally. In australia there are about 1000 people born with both genitalia and penis.

Recently there was a case in perth (australia) where a guy who was has both wanted to marry a woman but refused by court because the law doesn't recognise 'him' as a man. Apparently "hermaphrodite" or sex differentiation disorder isn't recognised under australian law, so the person has to decide. I think australian should follow Belgium, decide at the first instance.

Yep they really exist! I saw a documentary about them once. Just like you guys said: some got it natural, some got it by operations etc...

There was also a part in the documentary telling about some prison in the US where quite some man got themself a pair of breasts..

I heard on the radio once that Jamie Lee Curtis is somewhat hermaphroditic. Her body does not respond to male hormones, thus she is esentially a female, but some male characteristics. (its a rumour, but may be something to it)

This is what normally happens here in oz (as is the case with most developed nations) with hermaphrodites and most are "converted" to being girls (though, of course, inevitably, they are sterile as adults).

However, that isn't the case with people who have migrated from underdeveloped/developing nations so there will still be the occasional hermaphrodite that wasn't "treated" as a child in our society given our relatively large migrant intakes since WWII.

Do the conversions take place immediately after birth? Is it a must in Australia? I'm in australia too, btw, and I didn't know this was such an issue until about 3 months ago.

For at least the last 25 years or so, yes. It's become an issue more through media beat-up of one that either slipped through the system or a migrant who was never part of our system at birth. It really isn't a serious issue in oz.

Actually, assigning gender to hermaphrodites at birth is considered questionable and, even, dangerous today.

The new approach is to treat the child as gender neutral and watch the behavior patterns as they develop. Usually, by age 6 or 7, the underlying primary gender orientation becomes apparent and the child can be gradually transitioned into the gender roll.

When they’re older, the gender assignment can be reassessed before any surgical action is taken. This way, the adult’s not stuck with the wrong equipment if the doctors guessed wrong with the baby.

As for shemales, or transsexuals, I’ve got to say that I’ve seen a few that were just plain knockouts. Not my cup of tea, so to speak, but in the right situation…
