Chat with Other CD Freaks!

Join the Chat: on IRCNet, #cdfreaks-int . If you are in the US, you must use a server which accepts connections from here. The Only one I have found is irc.stealth.net . In mIRC, it can be found in the popup configuration menu (File-> Options), by selecting "IRC Network: IRCNet", and slighty below it, select "IRCnet: US, NY, New York". Press: Connect to server. Then, in the window that pops up, type in #cdfreaks-int". If no window pops up, type /join #cdfreaks-int. Then press enter. You should see at least 2 bots in the window that will pop up (@CD-Dealer, and @CDFreaks). If not, repeat the process, you probably did something wrong.

Also mind that many people are in different timezones. The chat is currently most active 20:00 - 22:00 (8 - 10 PM) GMT +01:00, but also on other times there are people around. If you have a cable connection we would appreciate it when you stay idle and hang around. More people attract more people in general !

Though I should warn you, th elevel of conversation may be lower than some threads (eg longest thread ever) on this forum...it is really like a bar sometimes...only no beer unless you bring your own

You can then select your own Nick and use #cdfreaks-int as the channel to join.

Through this link you can also be anonymous, since it will not show your true host/IP, but that of the server where the script is located.

Hey i went through all the trouble of getting mirc and configuring it. (i've never learned the program before so this was an evenings work to download and do especially with the 56k connection i am on) and no one is on. but then all the europeans are in bed when i am on, which is 8-10 pm eastern time. where are my fellow americans?

I'm around at 12:00 PM and intermittently at 6:00-8:00.

I haven't gone on for a while, since I've just finished configuring my FTP server.

We definitely need more North and South Americans on the chat. It has become really sad. The only time when there are people on the chat that are awake is when it s 10 in the morning for me! I am lazy and go to sleep late, waking up that early deprives me of precious REM sleep. It has come to the point that between the hours of 10PM and 3AM EST there is no one here! I call it the Dead Zone and it fits it perfectly. More people must join! I am so lonely at that time...so very lonely...

Oh how I love to be admin and see those hidden forums full of lovely ladies....

I need help. I no longer want to chat with members of CDFreaks. I want to brutally beat them with baseball bats and gun them down with mini-guns. GTA has ruined my brain. Whenever I get near IRC the lure of downloading roms and getting porn passes just for kicks comes back to mind and I don't even need/care to look at all those sites anymore. Old habits die hard....And SO WILL THOSE JERKS AT CDFREAKS! Oh, my...I'm sorry! Did I go crazy again? I'm going crazy. Look: My ICQ # is a 6 digit number, you know. I've been chatting much too long in my life.

I don't know, but your post meter is at 1234. No one is ever on the chat... or they don't talk. Whenever I go on (several times/day), there are usually 7 users tops. No one I am familiar with. No one that wants to talk?

Stay on for about 5 minutes making vague threats and going "Hello...?". Someone will usualy come out.
